He knew everything that has been seen on the MCAT and that will possibly show up. Any questions we asked in class he had an answer and a great explanation to help us understand. Will you recommend the Verbal Virtuoso strategy to future MCAT test-takers? Why or why not?	I would have full confidence in the method in order to share it. However, I wouldn't do so because I think it would be a breech of contract.

The practice problems given in the binder were most helpful, and the verbal strategy works really well. The instructor had an excellent understanding of the MCAT material, and taught well.
Please state the top three things you disliked about the MCAT Elite classroom course?	Sometimes, the instructor and I had miscommunicated about the time of the class. The price of the books are not included in tuition of the course. Making the notecards were not that helpful to me.

The lessons were interactive and taught to make the course interesting.

Yes, it was worth the full cost of the tuition, but I think the books should be included into this full tuition price because that way the student will get the best deal for the money. The MCAT elite program is worth the money because it is cheaper than other testing companies, and instructors do a much better job.

If you’ve taken another MCAT preparatory course, please state the name of the course, and please describe any advantages or disadvantages when studying under the MCAT Elite classroom course as compared to your previous course.	Kaplan MCAT course. MCAT elite was better for me because I was able to get one on one time with the instructor and also the instructor was much more knowledgeable about the material than the Kaplan instructors. The MCAT elite instructor took his job more seriously and worked hard to make sure the student understood concepts. Only one disadvantage is that it would have been beneficial for me to meet the instructor face to face and have class in a real classroom rather than virtual classroom.
Would you recommend the MCAT Elite classroom course to your friends preparing for the MCAT? Why or why not?	Yes, it is worth the money compared to other prep courses and the instructors care about your success.

Please state the top three things you disliked about the MCAT Elite classroom course?	(1) The combination of the January and February classes; I couldn't start until February and felt I had to rush to catch up with everyone else who'd started a month earlier.
Please describe your thoughts on the effectiveness of your instructor’s teaching methods. Was your instructor knowledgeable with the MCAT science material? Would you take another course with your instructor, if he or she were to instruct you in a future science course?	He was extremely knowledgeable on all the science material and knew how to explain it in a clear, concise manner. It helped that he'd just taken the MCAT fairly recently himself. I would definitely take another course with him.
Do you think the MCAT Elite classroom course is worth the full cost of tuition? Why or why not?	I think it's worth the full cost because students are given an extremely large amount of practice material, including online exams, classroom instruction, and access to private instruction. It's also much less expensive than Princeton or Kaplan, and well worth the money.

Would you recommend the MCAT Elite classroom course to your friends preparing for the MCAT? Why or why not?	I would recommend MCAT Elite to my friends because (a) it's a great value, and (b) it focuses on very valuable test-taking strategies that go beyond simply knowing the material.
Do you have any suggestions to improve the MCAT Elite classroom course?	The only issue I had with the course was that I signed up to start in February, then my class was combined with the January class so that everyone started in January. I couldn't attend until February, so I felt I had to do almost twice as much to stay caught up with everyone else. Maybe you should offer only a couple of classes that start in January and March, and leave out the February option all together.
Please describe your overall satisfaction with the Verbal Virtuoso technique? (The rest of this questionnaire refers to this strategy specifically)	The Verbal strategy is awesome. I already thought I had a strong grip on verbal comprehension going into the course, but the strategy greatly improved my scores.
Does the Verbal Virtuoso strategy help you understand the author’s main arguments? How so?	By highlighting/marking each opinion given by the author and separating it out from the supporting statements, the reader comes away with a very strong sense of where the author stands on the topic.
Does the Verbal Virtuoso strategy help you answer the questions to the passage? How so?	The physical act of marking the opinions given by the author helps the reader to more easily remember the passage's main points, so that you don't have to refer back to it when answering the questions.
Will you recommend the Verbal Virtuoso strategy to future MCAT test-takers? Why or why not?	I would recommend this strategy to future test-takers because it allows you to move quickly through the passages, while retaining accuracy.

I hadn't thought of going through the passages like that before, but this strategy really helped me to retain the author's main points the first time through the passage.

Everything that we did in the course directly increased our knowedge of MCAT subject matter. There was no frivolous learning of random material like I have heard about in other courses.

Please describe your thoughts on the effectiveness of your instructor’s teaching methods. Was your instructor knowledgeable with the MCAT science material? Would you take another course with your instructor, if he or she were to instruct you in a future science course?	Fayaz is an engaging teacher and uses plenty of examples and works out problems on the board to help teach this material. He is extremely knowledgeable about the all MCAT science material but on the rare occasion, he is not afraid to admit when he doesn't know the answer. I would certainly take another course from him.
Do you think the MCAT Elite classroom course is worth the full cost of tuition? Why or why not?	Yes definitely. With this course I scored a 31Q on the MCAT and solidified my knowledge base in biology. Whats more is that I aced Organic Chemistry I (a concurrent course) because Fayaz is excellent at explaining this material as well. I also went on the ace Organic II, also because I learned much of this material in Fayaz's MCAT course. This was possibility the best deal I've ever had in higher education.

Do you have any suggestions to improve the MCAT Elite classroom course?	This course was most successful when the students would read through the Think Guide and Fayaz would follow that up with applicable problems on the board. This should be the model of this course whenever possible.
Please describe your overall satisfaction with the Verbal Virtuoso technique? (The rest of this questionnaire refers to this strategy specifically)	As a student of English Literature, I was impressed with the success in Fayaz's signature verbal method. To begin, his method helps the reader solve these problems like a scientist, working one step at a time until the whole of the material is exposed. While this method did not raise my score (I scored 9-10 on every AAMC verbal passage I took, before and after I learned this method) Fayaz's systematic method brought me peace and confidence as I tackled each verbal passage, lowering my test stress levels which allowed me greater concentration and focus on the science passages. Thus when I reached the biological sciences passages, I was focused enough to score an 11.

By mapping each opinion stated by the author, his/her overall perspective and principle arguments are exposed. This is crucial for understanding the passage and this information is tested directly by more than half of the passage's questions.

Will you recommend the Verbal Virtuoso strategy to future MCAT test-takers? Why or why not?	I would recommend this strategy for anyone because it increases speed and provides a systematic approach to the otherwise chaotic, warp speed section of the MCAT.

Do you feel as if the Verbal Virtuoso strategy is the best strategy in helping the reader analyze an MCAT verbal passage? Why or why not?	If you are a speed reader who can truly remove your own bias from the information you read, then you probably do not need a strategy and you may also be a robot. However, if you are looking to improve your score or if you are looking to increase your test confidence and save some necessary mental clarity and concentration for the science passages, then this method is for you.

Does the Verbal Virtuoso strategy help you understand the author’s main arguments? How so?	The strategy causes you to take an indepth look at the author's main argument in a passage. It forces you to think intensely about the passage prior to looking at any questions, making the questions easier.
Did you modify your use of the technique in any manner to achieve better results? How so?	I was not able to really ponder on opinions or whether it was support, due to the time crunch. I was, however, able to begin to ask the question "why is this here?" with each sentence I read. By doing this, I was better able to grasp the author's main argument.
Will you recommend the Verbal Virtuoso strategy to future MCAT test-takers? Why or why not?	I absolutely would. I think it is the best way to approach each passage on the MCAT.
If you’ve taken an MCAT preparatory course with another company, how does the Verbal Virtuoso strategy compare with the verbal comprehension strategy taught in your previous MCAT preparatory course? Please explain.	I had taken no previous courses.
Do you feel as if the Verbal Virtuoso strategy is the best strategy in helping the reader analyze an MCAT verbal passage? Why or why not?	I think it is the best strategy. It will force you to think about the passages in a way that caters to the type of questions you will encounter.
Do you have any recommendations to future students in how to most effectively study and apply the Verbal Virtuoso strategy?	You must practice, practice, practice. There is no magic with any method; it takes determination despite the struggles you are sure to encounter with some of the passages.

If you’ve taken another MCAT preparatory course, please state the name of the course, and please describe any advantages or disadvantages when studying under the MCAT Elite classroom course as compared to your previous course.	First, I took Princeton Review and scored a 20. Then I took Kaplan and scored an 18. I took MCAT Elite and scored a 27. MCAT Elite is far superior to the other programs in two ways. First, the repetitive nature of the study. You will cover all the material at least three times with this program and the other programs will only cover the material once. The second aspect of this program that makes it so great is the verbal technique. I scored a 5 in verbal with the Kaplan method and a 9 in verbal with the MCAT Elite method.
Would you recommend the MCAT Elite classroom course to your friends preparing for the MCAT? Why or why not?	Absolutely. It is superior to other programs I've tried. The Science and Strategy Review is excellent. This review compacts the important topics and makes them easy to understand and memorize.
